If you are using a 64bit system and have tried to install Bryce 7 you may have come across this error message:
“The application has failed to start because its side-by-side
configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use
the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.”
If so, here's what to do:
First make sure you have all the latest updates for your computer.
Then go to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=26347. From this page you need to download and install vcredist_x86.EXE
